Thanks to the generosity of all of our sponsors, past donors and Society members the initial phase of the Memorial has been completed. The Veteran's Memorial has been erected, sidewalks and parking installed, trees, shrubbery, flowers, and grass has been planted, and water and sprinkling system installed.
Our existing focus is on paying for the on-going maintenance costs, utilities and continued site improvements. Behind the Memorial, we installed a beautiful iron-rot fence. We also installed more energy-efficient lighting at the Site and a number of trees and brushes were replaced. Late last year, we expanded the Vet Tribute Bricks area to accommodate another 300 pavers, installed a beautiful new lighted sign by National Ave, repaired a section of the walkway and improve the landscaping. More improvements are in the works for this year.

Memorial Bricks
“Veteran Bricks” are for honoring the services of all past and present veterans. The bricks are placed at the base of the monument.
“Community” Tribute Bricks” are purchased by individuals, families or businesses not for a specific Veteran and are placed along the walking path to the Memorial.
